Last week, official Olympic timekeeper Omega unveiled its new luxury fake Omega Seamaster Diver 300M “Tokyo 2020,” a blue-and-white divers’ watch commemorating the long-delayed Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. The special edition arrives as the latest in a long line of commemorative Olympic timepieces produced by Omega and is the second one produced in anticipation of the Tokyo summer games — following up the Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition unveiled in 2019, which marked one year before the then-official 2020 start of the event.
The “Tokyo 2020” edition also comes on the heels of Omega’s most recent Olympics-themed watch, the Seamaster Diver 300M “Beijing 2022” Special Edition, released at the start of this year and marking one year to the official start date of the Winter 2022 Olympics in Beijing. Conspicuously, this model was unveiled before the actual staging of the 2020 (now 2021) Tokyo Summer Olympics, as the date and corresponding release of copy watches for sale have been obviously disrupted due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The blue ceramic bezel replica Omega Seamaster Diver 300M “Tokyo 2020” essentially brings a novel colorway to the original ,professional-grade Seamaster Diver 300M, specifically the “Olympic Blue” colorway established for previous Olympics watches made by Omega. Its 42-mm steel case is topped with a ceramic unidirectional bezel with an enamel diving scale; it features a large helium-escape valve at the 10 o’clock position, and a screw-down crown flanked by smooth crown guards at the 3 o’clock position. The commemorative model is secured to the wrist via a multi-finish steel bracelet, its contrasting polished and satin-brushed textures matching those on the case proper.
The ocean-inspired, wavy-textured dial under the sapphire crystal continues a look that’s been shared across the waterproof copy Omega Seamaster Diver 300M range, most recently in the much-discussed “Black Black” monochromatic model released in March 2021.The dial has a blue outer minute ring with applied, white-lume-filled hour markers, which consist of rectangles at each quarter and large circles at the positions in between. A date window rests at 6 o’clock, in parallel to the Omega logo and small red “Seamaster” script at 12 o’clock. Two large, partially skeletonized hands determine the hours and minutes, while an additional lollipop-topped hand complements both and counts the seconds.
Behind a sapphire caseback with a special commemorative inscription, Omega’s Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8800 is visible, with all its entrancing finishing on full display. The automatic movement carries a 55-hour power reserve and boasts a co-axial escapement and a free-sprung balance with a silicon hairspring. Like all new best quality replica watches from the brand, the 8800 holds a Master Chronometer certification by METAS and comes with a 5-year warranty from Omega.
The high quality copy Omega Seamaster Diver 300M “Tokyo 2020” will be available closer to the launch of the summer event, priced at $5,600, via Omega and authorized dealers. Like previous Olympics editions, the “Tokyo 2020” timepiece is presented within a high-quality, commemorative Olympic Games presentation box.
